95k Compensation Cap.
The SAB has received queries regarding the £95k Compensation Cap.
Following discussions with the SPPA, the SAB notes that the policy of the Scottish Government is set out in a letter from the Cabinet Secretary. This sets out changes which apply to bodies covered by the Scottish Public Finance Manual (SPFM). Other public sector bodies not covered by the SPFM (such as local authorities) were encouraged to conduct their own reviews, but no changes have been made, or are intended to be made, to the Scottish Local Government Pension Scheme regulations.
